TRIO LABS INTERNSHIP

From May 20th to August 20th, 2024, I had the opportunity to intern as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Trio Labs, an innovative startup at the cutting edge of micro-precision metal additive manufacturing. Trio Labs specializes in a patented Resin Infused Powder Lithography (RIPL) 3D printing technology, designed specifically for micron-scale metal components that demand extraordinary precision with tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inches.

During my internship, I played a pivotal role in assembling and innovating three of these advanced RIPL 3D printers. I quickly adapted to the dynamic startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration across various cross-functional teams. My responsibilities also included preparing detailed weekly progress reports and actively participating in strategic ideation meetings with company executives, where my input contributed directly to key decision-making and advancement of critical project objectives.

This experience at Trio Labs enhanced my technical skills in precision manufacturing and digital visualization and deeply reinforced my ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
